The Lovely Omens Tarot Deck strays away from the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith symbolism in favor of a pink, white and black color scheme and Major Arcana pip cards instead of images.
While I wouldn’t recommend this card to beginners, I would certainly invite anyone who is interested in moving away from the RWS symbolism structure without feeling alienated to check out this deck.
The cards are framed in laurel leaves and feature plants throughout, and turns away from representation from the four natural elements throughout the decks and the suits.
Parks features subjects and items that may represent an omen in different cultures. Black cats, stars, crescent moons are repeated in the imagery of the cards, including the evil eye which also appears on the back of all of the cards.
The Lovely Omen Tarot is incredibly feminine, and has strong appeal to those interested in the occult and modern witchcraft. As such, there are no males present in this deck.
